Aromatherapy - Aromatic oils are derived from flowers, leaves, fruits, resins and herbs. Specific oils are used for certain health problems. The oils are massaged into the skin to help strengthen the immune system and bring about an internal balance.
Bach Flower Remedies - 36 flower remedies were discovered by Dr. E. Bach. He utilised the energy of the plants for healing. Many of the original plant locations are still used today. The plant energy is used for emotional states, such as worry, anxiety, fears etc. The Doctor said that a person's state of mind can be the primary cause of sickness.
Colonic Hydrotherapy - The colon is gently bathed in warm filtered water. It can help to dislodge and eliminate stored faecal matter. Plus problems with gas, excess mucus, tiredness, oedemas, constipation, diarrhoea and candida. It may be necessary to take some herbs.
Cranial Massage - This helps to release tension in the head, neck, shoulders and pelvis. Gentle movements of the cranial bones allow cerebral fluid to flow unimpeded up and down the spinal column and outward into tissues.
Emotional Stress Relief - Stress from past problems can cause chemicals to be triggered off in the body at any time. In many instances these past stressors can be the reason for physical problems in the hear and now. This technique can help neutralise these chemical reactions, allowing one to have a free choice in how the body reacts in any given situation.
Healing - This is the channelling of God/Universal energy through a healer to a patient by the 'laying-on' of hands. This helps bring about an internal balance aiding a person to stimulate their own healing powers.
Kinesiology - Literally, this is the study of muscular movements. It is to some extent a fusion of acupressure and chiropractic techniques. It involves manipulating specific electromagnetic points on energy lines (meridians). It helps deals with structural, chemical and mental imbalances of the body.
Massage - Relaxes tight muscles, improves the circulation and concentration, assists lymphatic drainage. It also helps with the removal of toxic waste from tissues. A feel good factor is achieved. (this differs from aromatherapy in so far as more concentration in placed on specifics).
One-Brain Technique - This treatment helps diagnose where problems are located that cause patients to have difficulty in dealing with day-to-day activities.
Reflexology - Is the study of reflex points on the feet and hands. If there is an imbalance within the body of any kind such as aches, pains, discomfort, the related area on the feet or hands will experience a feeling of either sharpness or tenderness when the therapist uses compression massage. This technique aims to stimulate the sensory and motor nerves, resulting in the patient creating a healing environment for change.
Stress Management - Coping techniques are taught. Exercises in breathing for better concentration, better sleep, for any fears, anxieties, phobias. And affirmations taught for self empowerment and positive change.
Yoga - Is a system of self-study, helping you to focus on the mind and body. The use of gentle exercises, both physical and mental are taught, either to individuals or to groups. Yoga is a complete science of life, developed in India thousands of years ago.
